The old analogy of trend trading and surfing waves. Well we’re sideways today so this will have to do. If there’s interest I’ll put this analogy up with some charts. Enjoy!

"A Good Plan"

Well you don't just paddle into a 20 foot wall of water or place a trade blindly. There is skill involved even tho professionals might make it look/seem easy.

Plan the Ride

During the planning of the ride there is time to evaluate the situation and control your actions.

Execute the Plan

Once you decide to pull the trigger you should be confident in your decision and stick to the plan. Notice all the "Little" waves on the big one you can't avoid !

The Euphoric Feeling

The feeling of confidence, excitement, and happiness surrounded by the chance of failure all at once.

Yeah Baby, Yeah !

The payoff for the work beforehand !

Nothing lasts forever

Success ! Time for a safe exit, find your way out, and plan the next ride.

"A Bad Plan"

Take on too much risk by poor planning.

Fear

My mentor was right. Oh S**t...

3 Hail Mary's, Quick !

Lucky to get 1 Hail Mary in before the impact of poor planning stings you.
